The Alarm Monitor application in ScapaPro provides real time indications of channels that are in alarm, or have previously exceeded their configured alarm limits. The Alarm Monitor can display all alarm occurrences since the system was enabled. All alarms can be acknowledged and the common alarm cancelled. The Alarm Monitor has a client/server architecture which allows it to monitor alarms from remote ScadaPro servers. To increase awareness of alarms Windows Sound files can be associated with Alarm Monitor Windows so that the user can be provided with audio as well as visual feedback.
