The Selector Knob ActiveX Control is
a knob-style control that can be used to
choose between discrete options. It can be
used as a replacement for option buttons and
provides the user with an easy-to-use and
intuitive mouse input. Additionally, there
are automatic features that define the
control with minimal work required.
- Each switch may have several possible
selections.
- Offsets may be controlled automatically
or by the user.
- In addition to the several styles of
knobs provided with the control, it also supports
user-defined shapes.
- Each knob may be adorned with a single
mark. This mark may be in shape provided with the control or
a user-defined shape.
- The control can be embellished with
multiple captions to indicate the type of measurement being
displayed, units used or any other informative or decorative
labelling. These captions are in no way related to the
captions defined for each selection.
- Properties are used to modify:
- Each selection's caption, colour,
alignment, and offset.
- The lines' inner radius and thickness as
well as whether or not the lines are visible.
- The length and angle of each offset.
- The knob's style, inner-outer radii,
width, and colour.
- The mark's style, inner-outer radii,
width, and colour.
