OPC (Object Linking and Embedding for Process Control) is the new "plug and play" open automation industry standard. Based on Microsoft's Component Object Model (COM) and Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM), OPC provides the technical basis for the connectivity of automation software with control hardware and field devices. It also provides seamless integration with Enterprise Wide MRP / ERP, SCADA and MES systems.

Measuresoft offers the following range of OPC enabled products: ViewIT – is an OPC Data Access 1.0a & 2.0 compliant custom operator displays and HMI tool. This is a Scriptable Forms Environment (SFE) that provides run-time flexibility for building operator displays, allowing anyone (you, your customer, or a systems integrator) to easily extend or customize the operator display. It also includes a full set of OPC compliant Realtime Instrumentation ActiveX controls. ScadaPro OPC Server – Measuresoft's SCADA product contains an OPC Data Access 1.0a compliant sever which allows any third party client to interface to ScadaPro channels. ScadaPro OPC Client - Measuresoft's SCADA product contains an OPC Data Access 1.0a compliant client which provides a bi-direction transfer of data from third party OPC servers and ScadaPro channels.
